Booking direct simply means booking directly from a property owner, booking from a company such as Happy Crab Vacations that specializes in managing the rentals of properties which the owner does not have the time to do themselves.
Everyone has heard of the online travel agencies such as AIRBNB and VRBO. These companies charge service fees to both the guest and the owner of the property the guest is renting. This is how they make millions which allows them to advertise on network tv events such as the super bowl. These service fees can range from $300 to $700 or more depending on the cost of the reservation.
If you book through Happy Crab Vacations there no service fees for using our website. The cost of the rental is simply the cost of the rental, taxes, cleaning cost, and a 3% booking fee if you choose to pay via credit card.

At this time none of the properties have EV charging stations.
ALL cancellations are subject to a $100 cancellation fee.
After that, one hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 45 days before the arrival date of the reservation. Fifty percent (50.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 14 days before the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 14 days before the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
HURRICANE CANCELLATION POLICY - In the event of a pending hurricane and the Governor issues a mandatory evacuation, guests will receive a full refund.
TRAVEL INSURANCE is highly recommended. We will not be making refund exceptions outside of our cancellation policy. ID verification is required after reservation.
CHECK-IN TIME: 4 PM door codes activate at check-in time
CHECK-OT TIME: 10 AM door codes expire at check-out time
EARLY CHECK-IN / LATE CHECK-OUT OPTIONS
* if residence is ready for occupancy prior to 4pm arrival time, early check-in can be purchased for $25 per hour (max $100) requires 48 hours notice
* late check-out can sometimes be arranged for $25 per hour (max 2 hours) and requires 48 hours notice
* if you have not arranged late check-out can sometimes be arranged for $25 per hour (max 2 hours) and requires 48 hours notice
FAILURE TO CHECK OUT ON TIME will incur a $50 fee plus an additional $50 per hour for every hour. If guest has not vacated by noon charge will equal full day rental

WIFI network name and password information are included in the arrival information email.
Parking is free at all locations.
Parking passes must be visible on dash or hanging from rear view mirror.
Each reservation receives 2 parking permits unless property listing specifies otherwise. Some smaller properties only allow 1 and some larger properties allow 3.
This is all included in the listing and/or arrival packet.
TOWING IS ENFORCED and COSTLY. All costs related to tow are paid by the guest.
Pets are not allowed unless property descripton states otherwise.
If pets are allowed, pet fees are required and vary based on location and length of stay.
Occupancy limits are established at the county government level for fire and safety reasons.
Happy Crab Vacations is required to enforce these guidelines. Each listed property includes maximum guest information.
Exceeding the occupancy limit will result in immediate cancellaton of booking and guests will be required to vacate premises.
Rental Agreement must include names of each guest.
Happy Crab Vacations enforces the Quiet Time Ordinance established by both the city of North Myrtle Beach and Myrtle Beach.
Quiet hours are from 11 PM–7 AM. During these hours, it is illegal to make excessive, unnecessary, or loud noises that disturb others.

Smoking or Vaping is strictly prohibited on the property, and any violation will incur a $300 fine in addition to the cleaning fee. Should there be any lingering tobacco or cannabis smell after your departure, an extra smoke remediation cleaning fee will be applied.
Please note that the use of oil lamps and incense is not permitted due to the long-lasting odor they may leave behind. Failure to comply with these policies will result in an additional charge for excessive cleaning.
Pool Passes and/or Wristband requirements vary by location. This information will be in your information packet email.
If required these will be found in the residence most often on the kitchen counter.
For properties featuring a workout facility the door code will be provided in the information packet as well.
Hosting events or parties is not allowed on our property. We have implemented this policy to prioritize the safety and comfort of all our guests.
